Skip Links

The "skip links" link, which is the first link on the page, enables those using screen readers to skip over the other navigation links on a page and go directly to the page content.

All the links should be accessible by using the tab key. The order of tabs is:

and then to any links within the page content.

Access Key

You can use the ALT key, plus a number, to access links, for example ALT+4 takes you to the home page. The assignments are:

ALT+1: Skip Links
ALT+2: Acessibility (this page)
ALT+3: Site Map
ALT+4: Homepage

Depending on which browser you are using, it may be necessary to use the enter key to activate the link.
